another "easy" font that i can't resolve. the strokes look of differing weight, but it's consistant on the other copy i'm working off of. the "G", "R", and "S" and the round period should be the tip-off clues, but i'm stumped.

after version 8, illustrator pathfinder doesn't do quite as good as it used to. it will leave many of these unwanted paths the older versions did not. nice follow up on the plug-in Fred.

i usually will keep my fades between 5%-95% anyway. the ends of the percentages can sometimes print rather harsh so if i can print a very small tint and have the darker area not fill in, i feel i get better results. as for pt.2, i'd rather have a good used Edge1 (aka LE) than an inkjet for...

we've printed on the etch vinyls using the Edge. the frosted doesn't work well at all. i think we experimented over on 4Edge (even printing with a clear "primer base"?). there may be other tips on that post. screen printing is very effective on all types of etch vinyls.

...and here i was thinking you had 5000! fonts installed, haha! i was suprised to have had the 700+ on my Edge station. the one good part was it made me backup some of the odd, not-used-lately fonts and free up ATM for important free space (when so needed). thanks for the clarification.
