I still EEk whenever I see Avery sworn by in here from time to time. My sense is these people never dealt w/ the TRAINWRECK that it was to deal with Avery when they had their rash of failures. I was doing fleet graphics at the time and we'd cut thousands of linear feet that failed. You know...
I'm sure the logic is if you're willing to throw money away screwing up prints during laminating then you could surely afford to pay outright to learn how to use the machine properly and keep spoilage to a minimum.

Fellers has another tape that doesn't allow vinyl to stick to it I'd put under neath the cut and whatever you like for the rule on the top cut. should be straight forward and I've done this on the rear radius on tons of van wraps.
I've used scaffolding and walkboards for tractor trailers, but I've always found the walkboards to be the best fit for me and moving the fastest through the work.
* the only thing I'd use a rolling scaffold for would be for the rear.
I was a fan of the feller's NEWTAPE which is what I think the takit stuff is labeled as now. Before the supplier switched last year the quality of that tape seemed higher. The edges are always poorly cut in the batches I've received over the last 6months or so. I use a similar method that Bob...
