I just heard back from SAi they want to know what printing resolution are you using when printing this? Does it happen with different resolutions and different profiles?

I just sent this thread to someone at SAi and I will see what they say.

We only print in SO Diffusion at this point. I would call SAi's tech support and let them know about it. Sounds like there is a bug in the driver.

What printer are you using and does it do it on the printer's internal test? I have seen a 64" Mutoh Valuejet do this and it was caused by a failed ram chip on the mother board. We replaced the ram and the problem went away. See attached pictures

For anyone else that has this issue I found that the anti-virus software was the cause. I had a customer with CA Anti-Virus and once it was removed the problem went away.

We use ACT Premium by Sage. It is a full contact management software and has an email marketing plugin that works well. You do have to pay a monthly fee for the email marketing based on how many emails you send out. We have it set to 3000 emails and it costs us about $65 a month.

I have just checked with Mutoh on this and the actual head itself is the same part in the printers I originally mentioned. The only difference between the 1638 and the 1324/1624 is the mounting bracket used to mount it to the carriage but the actual head is identical.
