Okay, I will take a look at the EliteBook line from HP. We aren't doing any 3D modeling just 2D drawings nothing to complex but I want him to have the speed and performance to last and not be wishing he had another new laptop in a couple of years. Thanks for the info.

I've had x6 since the week it came out. I have not had any issues with it crashing and did an upgrade not a clean install.

I tried a 32" vizio as my monitor for a while but didn't really like the quality maybe I didn't have the settings right. What connection are you using to your computer. I ended up opting for 2 28" I-Inc Monitors for my computer. I don't know how I got anything done before dual monitors.

@coloradosigns which one would you suggest for printing multiple smaller sheets that are say 18x24 as compared to full 4x8 sheets?
