Looks like the pressure rollers are contaminated. Use a rag moistened with Eco solvent cleaning fluid to wipe and clean the rollers. If that does not fix the problem, replace them.
Not sure why, you are most likely not doing it correctly. Anyway, another way to correct the feed length is to do it in the RIP software, perform the output size compensation in Flexi
After the Confirm Print Test had been printed and the length comes out correct, the adjustment is complete. If you again run the PF Adjust, the printer would default back to the original feeding increment and it will lose the feed compensation.
This problem is usually caused by output size mismatch between the printer and the cutter. If the output size already match, you need to calibrate the AAS offset because the default settings may no longer be valid. Change the x and y values, increasing the value will move the cut in one...
"No Media" error possibly due to faulty rear media or lever sensor. Try the following troubleshooting procedure. Switch off the printer, remove the media then power back on. Check the printer status on VSM, then load media and turn the orange knob to bring down the pressure rollers. If you still...
Sorry, I only work Mutoh printers so I would not know the tolerances for a Roland printer. I suppose you need to find a way to make the gap equal to the side that prints OK.
The gap between the print head and platen is most likely not uniform across the width of the printer. You will never obtain good prints when printing Bi-Directional if that gap is not constant because the time it takes for the ink droplet to hit the media is different between the right side and...
The carriage might not be parallel to the platen, I have seen this on other printers where in the gap between the pint head and the platen is not the same between the left and the right side of the unit.
If you are thinking of flushing the ink system by performing a Head Wash (now called a Longstore on newer models) procedure through the printer's control panel, you will need a full set of new cleaning cartridges,
You can download the heater controller firmware from the Mutoh America website, click on the support tab, then select Public FTP. In there, select Printer Information and Manuals, select Legacy Printers, then select VJ-1304
