It is that your black head has got many of the nozzles clogged and a a result the black ink is deflecting when it comes out of the nozzles. This then creates and overspray look to the print. Options, do a maximum head clean, which may help the situation, but I suspect the clogging is too bad...

Are these lines down the length of the print or across the print. I have had similar appear down the length of a print. It has happened to me where the media has lifted slightly from the printing plate. The difference in height of the head over the materials can at times print this way. Neil

I have checked the EuroMedia site and the profiles are very limited. I have used a the "SPP-G Glossy Coating Paper" profile that comes with VersaWorks. Another alternative is the Hexis 270 profile. I found 3 but only 1 works for me. If you want to try it, PM me and I will email it to you...

It is either a dirty encoder strip or an encoder module that had had it. Clean the encoder strip and see what happens. If it still persists, then its likely the encoder module. I had to replace mine after about 3 years of use. Neil

I hope you don't mind me asking, but the image you are trying to print, does it have white surrounding it? If the surround is white, it will print white. The photoshop image needs to be on a transparent background and the image to be printed needs to be cut out so that there is only transparent...

messmedia, I have a SP540, and although it is slower than your machine, it will run and run. I don't have a take up roller, but I had mine printing for a full 5 or 6 days, 20+ hours a day. My wife and I kept a constant vigil rolling up the material as it printed, hour after hour and it worked...

I found the color profiles in Signlab were off. Bright reds in Flexi and Illustrator print brown'y red. Had problems with getting other colours correct on my VersaCamm, ended up ditching Signlab. I have version 7.1 for Print & Cut for sale if anyone wants it, but it's not for me. I prefer Flexi.
