I think the minor nozzle problem, and the picky customer were a coincidence. Your dull blacks are probably due to improper setup, not that little deflection going on.
We have a quickmount 4 here. It does it's job. It's a great mounter, laminating is kinda iffy. Our bottom roller has a high spot on it, so a few times the laminating doesn't go well if you don't use a sled.
If I could go back, I'd save up a few more dollars and but a "true" laminator.
Well, yeah with practice you can get the method down, I was being specific to him. It's almost guaranteed he's gonna have bubbles if it's his first time applying 3651.
"Quick" fix for now would be to print a bunch of "blacks" with different cmyk or rgb balances and see which will get you by on this job. Then apply that black mixture to the overall design.
Blow up, photozoom, photoshop. Those are what you should go for, but before that, make sure you're working files at the right resolution i.e. (75ppi for wraps).
I think there is a "view quality" option in corel somewhere. It renders less curves to do it faster (but that's really not needed anymore).
edit: That's a whole other issue. Ooops. Try playing with the miter limits from the outlines, when they're set wrong you get occasion "spikes" jutting...
Profiles are created based on passes and resolutions. The reason the other resolutions are greyed out is because that particular profile was only built for the availalble resolutions.
The final color I don't really care about because these are spot colors set up for screen seperations. I just need the "spot color" option to stay put on the objects. I forgot about pdf. hehe, I'm gonna see if that's work.
