Anyone know of a supplier that has 60" Polycarbonate Laminate? The widest I can find is 51". Need to lam a 59" wide graphic. Would like to have 10 mil if possible but I can make up the thickness on the backer. Thanks
Just came across that product. Looks like Ultraflex owns them now and Merritt Graphics is a certified printer for the material. Just put a call to them. Thank you though!
I have a project that I need to replace some stage flooring for a tradeshow exhibit. The current product being used is 3/32" thick Eventflex Rollable Vinyl that has a cushioned backing which comes in various finishes but not a printable version. The client wants to have a graphic printed on...
This is accurate, but they do have drag knife, creasing tools available. A lot of bang for the buck. I came from a smaller shop that had a $250K Zund. The $200K premium for a machine that has a i-cut capabilities seems a waste to me, especially for a smaller shop. Just my $0.02.
Check out ShopBot. We have a 5x10 with a 10-tool changer and if I'm not mistaken it was in the range of 45-50K. The only thing with it is that it's a "kit" that you have to assemble yourself and takes a fair amount of skill to do. But ours runs 10-12 hours a day like a champ.
Ours has to be...
We use a 60% IPA /40% H20 mix, spray it onto lint free towels (saturate the towel) and wipe down the boards... Not spraying directly onto the boards. What I found was that the overspray from spraying directly onto the boards would cause fisheyes to develop during printing. Spraying the towel...
We get that on occasion with our email server and the best we've been able to determine is that its not a problem on our end, but at the email server. It tends to resolve itself typically after a couple of hours at most. We'll get outlook errors and iphone mail errors with the same message you...
It depends on the brand of ACM. Grimco's MaxMetal did exactly this to me printing on a HP FB700. If I'm not mistaken, Nudo's Polymetal was the alternative that was suggested for this printer that allowed the ink to grip better. Others may have another suggestion, but this was my experience.
How about something like this? Hog Rings...

This is from Testrite... I haven't bought them but keep their catalog on hand for higher end offerings. Look starting at page 12 http://displayfolio.com/
I'd be happy to do this for you, but I do have a concern... I don't see any mention of competitor you bought, and I would think that you would promote that fact to not only their clients, but to yours as well to promote that you are growing and looking forward to continuing doing business with...
Summa +1
Don't have one where I work now, but I've used them in the past and amazed at the speed and accuracy as well as the reliability. Don't be cheap on a cutter if possible.
You might want to call a local offset printing company that outsources their laminating and die cutting. Mid-Sized and even some large sized printers may not have all the high-speed laminating equipment they need to do the work, and they probably outsource paper prints that are glue mounted to...
I actually had a bunch of different sized tapered buckets that I had to make labels that wrapped around and overlapped. Took a bit of trig and lots of google searching but I came up with an excel spreadsheet that I was able to put in the diameter at the top of the bucket, the diameter at the...
