    Not capping properly.
  2. Window Perf Rolling Itself Off

I always used to use 3M 94 Primer around the outside edges or along the overlapping seam. We use that religiously on all window perf installs.
  3. Mimaki CJV150-130 Wrong Ink IC error

Mimaki ink cartridges have a chip in each one that is coded with a date, time and a volume, It looks like the ones that you purchased do not have a chip in them at all judging from the product pics on their site. I also didn't see anything on the STS site addressing the chip issue either. So...
  4. Need Help Mimaki UJV100-160 screen says outdated ink, anyway to reset the clock

Time to buy new ink. Keep an eye on the expiration dates of the ink you are buying from your vendor. If you are not getting ink that is at least 6 months out I wouldn't purchase it from them.
  5. Measuring app?

You could use a banana for scale.
  6. Mimaki UCJV 300- 160

You need to have the parts that are broken replaced.
  7. CJV 150-75 New head not printing cyan

Need to align you capping position in the service menu. This happens all the time when the cap and or heads are replaced. They are never going to be in the exact position from when they first installed.
  8. Mimaki jfx500 gen5 misfire

What are your head voltages. Looks more like something electrical to me.
  9. Need Help Mimaki UCJV300-130 - Pinch Roller Positions

Are you using FineCut? When it comes to cutting on Mimaki, everything can be controlled. Does it do the kiss cuts, the perf cuts or the trough cuts first? I what order? The way you build your cutfile layout has everything to do with the order in which thing cut. It can all be controlled and...
  10. UCJV300 - Whats your technique for getting the captops out?

Down right and up. Push down firmly on the cap, slide it to the right (it's only going to move a little) and lift straight up. It's going to feel a little snug but it will pop right out. Not gonna lie they can break easily so be careful. Also perform a cap alignment after each replacement or...
  11. HP Scitex FB700 Error: A-UV-52 UV lamp current not detected

Sounds like a power supply issue.
  12. Rant UCJV300-160 print carriage major design flaw?

That's why Mimaki includes those little black handled dense foam tipped swabs with the angled tip. It's to get into those tight little nooks and crannies around the print heads, Solventinkjet is correct, I'll even take it a step further by saying a lot of folks don't clean out those crevices...
  13. Another Mimaki color thread, cjv150 CYMKOrLkSiWh

What resolution are you printing at?
  14. Printer is wonky

This is why we should ALWAYS HAVE YOUR PRINTER CONNECTED TO A UPS POWER SUPPLY BACKUP FOLKS.
  15. Is this an alignment issue?

I thought these printers only ran Unidirectional? You are doing 9 layers?
  16. JFX200-2513 Pressure Issues

The 2way 2+3way air solenoid valve are all either defective or they can't maintain the pressures once dialed in. I would always teach the operators how to monitor the values on their printers after a new install.
  17. VUTEK GS3250 LX Ultra Banding issue

Does it do the same thing if you run it Unidirectional?
  18. Production manager help

Wow, this Flexi program sounds like a major PITA. /s
  19. UCJV300 1 White channel goes missing

What are the positive and negative air pressures right now? Secondly perform and air purge on every channel of H2 until you are sure ink is purging without any bubbles coming out with the ink. Then check your head voltages. Finally check your gap.
