  1. Moving Printer 3 miles away. Best way to move it?

Yes, there are three bright yellow brackets that the installer removed and should have put back in the machine. Before you do that empty your subtanks and printheads. Then brackets. When you transport machine is top-heavy and wheels are dainty. Ratchet strap machine to wall of truck used...
  2. Need Help Ujv100-160 refresh rate

I've seen something like this on a CJV 300-130. Machine was in the boonies and FW hadn't been updated in a while. After updating 13 versions the machine somehow started doing the most extreme cleaning possible, wasting all 8 of their SS21 cartridges in about a week. Manually changed it back...

  4. Mimaki JFX200

Check the positive and negative pressures, be sure they are in spec and check them often. The 2-3 way air valves are notorious for failing.

  7. Flatbed Printers

Buy a Mimaki JFX 200 2513 at around $70k it's a great intro flatbed, not blazing fast but it will get the job done and quality is amazing. Never buy used, a new one comes with 2 year warranty, install software and training. Hire a dedicated operator that knows how to do finishing and packaging...
  8. 3042 MKII change clear to primer

It's actually pretty easy to do. You'll need 4 bottles of flush because you'll need to flush all ink out of the entire head 5 to 7 times. Change the ink filters for the clear ink line then while in service mode, you need to bring the load the original parameters so the machine will start up like...
  9. Mimaki JFX 500 'Refill Water'

  15. ONYX Training

Yep, you want to look for tutorials on tiling. Learn to rotate every other panel and how to add overlap in both directions. Also talk to your installers, ask them if they have any preferences of how they would like the prints output.
  16. [Mimaki UJV55-320] ERROR 404 Y CURRENT

This is a relatively new printer, are you not under warranty? Update your firmware. Check the carriage in the off state wether it moves smoothly in the Y direction. Apply grease to the LM guide. Check CN14 & 15 on the main PCB and the motor cable. (Had an issue with my first install of a UJV 55...

  18. 4 month old Mimaki problems

Inkcicles, totally ste Inkcicles, I'm totally stealing that bro. Great way to describe to the principal that what's occuring is due to their operator not doing the bare minimum daily and weekly maintenance adequately.
  19. Need Help Y OVERCURRENT ERROR

    ∆This guy Mimakis!
  20. CJV150 Print Head Replacement

You really should pull the ink via the cap through the waste ink tube with a syringe rather than push it through the top or through the dampers. I've been told when you push it through the top you have a better chance of pushing any debris though the filters in the head, clogging more nozzles...
