Greetings all
I just got an HP 25500 wide format printer and am now in need of a RIP for it.
Will be running just the one HP off the RIP so I don't need anything too complex.
Will be mostly printing banners and posters.
RIP suggestions?
Anyone got one for sale?
thanks in advance
Rob

It's about 25- 30 years old...
So there is no "dealer" in this case.
I have a local "tech" who can fix just about anything, but he's going to need a set of schematics to track down the issue

Greetings All.
I just bought a used Riso HC 5500. Mainly for printing envelopes.
Machine seems to be in GREAT shape.
However, I am getting a "random" issue that is occurring when printing envelopes.
The printed envelopes will pick up random "stains" of ink. All color, and in different...
Greetings,
I have a C.P. Bourg BB 2000 perfect binding machine.
Mine is the "light tan" colored machine.
I have been having some issues with my machine lately and was doing some maintenance on it today with my tech guy.
We notice that the "carbine" cutting blades inside of the machine seem...
We are seeing the SAME problem with our L25500 lately
Heads are blowing MUCH faster than before
Lasting only about 1/2 as long as they were in the past.
Something is up.
BAD batch of heads floating around?

Curious if anyone out there has ever owned/operated a Xerox IGEN 3 or 4?
My question, if the machine is running 10-12 hours a day, what is the monthly power bill $$ ??
I have heard these things can eat up $2k to $6k a MONTH in power???
Is that true?
Thx
Rob
Hello all
Just getting the HP 25500 up and running
Looking for some recs on good "poster" paper
I am currently using N Glance and it seems like this printer runs too "hot" for that stock.
Paper is constantly buckling in the center and heads are impacting the paper ruining the print.
thx
Just got our HP 25500
getting this ERROR code A LOT
14.06:00
It will pop up in between prints - generally when I am changing from one roll to another
then you have to shut it down, cool off and reboot.
??
thx much

Hello Royster,
Yes - we actually do quite well printing / selling door hangers.
We run a Xerox 5000AP Digital Press.
After paper costs and click charges, there are still a few bucks to be made.
:)
Thanks 300MPh,
Yes - I am interested in your offer.
Would be happy to give you some $$ for the machine.
Can you shoot me an email?

Hi Slo,
Yes, that is what I am doing now
Sending them out for "punch"
Problem is, it's a hassle and it takes too much extra time.
Need to bring it "in house"
Thx
Rob
Thanks for the quick reply James.
Question: Typical size for door hangers is 4x9
We print them on 12 point card stock - approx 300 gsm
We would cut them down to finished size before die cutting
With your suggested method, how many cards would you guess we would be able to "punch" in 1 pass...
Hello all
Looking for some advice
We do all types of printing, but lately getting A LOT of requests for "Door Hangers"
Printing and cutting them is no problem, BUT we do not have a die cutter or a large paper drill.
Having to outsource the "paper punch" part of the job.
No huge issue, but...
Hello all
