We installed several trucks for a local Napa store that came the same way. They had a corporate vendor that touted the 3M vinyl but then the liquid laminate was garbage and failed quickly. Also some came with 3M premask and some with a clear tape that was impossible to work with. They showed...
I realize this is an old thread, but just curious when you stud mount to drywall are you saying you don't use any adhesive in the holes? We have a project coming up and this is the method we are using but didn't realize it could be done without adhesive.
I realize you already have your table built but for anyone else, when looking at casters, there are "total-locking casters" which stops the wiggle of the table as it locks the spinning feature of the caster as well as the wheel. We found these when building our tables and they work great.
There is low stock everywhere, but Thinc Actionwear also carries them depending on the color you are looking for.
Sportsman is the main Distributor for them and they are showing no stock either...
The original was done so long ago that I'm sure no one even knows that it is misspelled or what it even means. I will pass along the info to them and see if we can get them to update it, thank you for the knowledge!
We barely got them to have us recreate the seal. I don't think at this point I would try to change any spelling mistakes. This seal was on their fire department rigs and appears over the years that no one took the time to make a better vector version of it, instead just replicating this...
We use ETS Express. They have been awesome on many jobs we have done over the years. I think they have 2 locations, one happens to be close to us so we don't get hurt too bad on shipping, but either way we pass it on to the customer.
Well the thread did take some turns but we still went ahead with the sign. haha.
So here goes...
We made the blank ourselves using redwood and we did biscuit joint the pieces together. As you'll see in the pictures we also added support rails down the back to try and help avoid the warping...
I do agree that I'm not a total fan of how the first sign was made. I also don't understand the warp or how long that sign will survive. We did build our own blank and actually lined up the planks for almost matching color to this one. Blasting it this week and handing it over or hanging it...
I agree, and maybe just handing them the sign would be the best option. The tv's although lighter are just lagged into the rock with some type of insert. It's a tough one for sure. Thank you for your time. I'll post it when done, however it happens.
Thank you for the detailed information, however this is an existing wall from a previous business. We don't have that option at this point. Also yes HDU would have been better but they wanted an exact replica of a sign from their other location.
We are matching another sign that they had done a few years ago for a different location. Yes we can get to the otherside, but it won't help to mount it, this is the exterior wall with stucco on it.
