  1. Kennel card holders

Thanks - yes, I forgot to say, they would be fixed to the kennel cage doors. If I can find the right items, I'm sure I can find a way of mounting it.
  2. Kennel card holders

Greetings! I'm hoping someone can suggest a product - I'm looking for some letter -sized holders/pouches/whatevers to hold kennel card information. Our animal shelter prints out the details on paper, but we need a holder for them that is at least water-resistant (when cleaning out the kennels)...
  3. Digital pricing

Greetings! Just wondering what you do for pricing digital. I'm not looking for actual prices, but rather what kind of formula do you base your prices on? Obviously the cost of the materials comes into play, but what else do you take into account? I know many people have a 'per sq.ft' price...
  4. Sir, Why do you charge for your services?

If they're unhappy with the bill, maybe you should offer to re-instate the fault and they are free to take it somewhere else!
  5. cutting beveled edges on komatex

Depends on how big a bevel, but my choice would be a router table (not cnc) with a suitable bit.
  6. LED 'Open' signs

Greetings! Can anyone recommend a source: I'm looking for four LED signs - 2 that say "Open" in English, and 2 in French. The other criteria is that they must be suitable for outside use. I'm thinking this may be a custom job, but thought I'd ask? Thanks in advance!
  7. Bit for aluminum composite

We've had good success with 1/8" straight (2 flute) bits from Centurion Tools. Cut thru 3mm aluminum composite at around 125ipm, 18,000 rpm in Climb direction. We find cutting in climb direction leaves enough chips in the kerf to hold the piece in place without tabs (at least for simple...
  8. Need A 3D Prop For a Wrap

ez-Router are based in Texas - I should think they could put you in touch with someone reasonably close to you?
  9. Error in my PHP script

If I add the missing semicolon to the "mysql_select_db("removed")" line, my system reports "no syntax errors".
  10. Gilding over lacquer

Greetings! Sorry I can't help with your question, but I am curious - do you gild the lettering with the mask still in place, or remove then gild?
  11. exported image into versaworks

Don't know if it's of any help, but I've found you often get a brighter image if you export photo images as RGB rather than CMYK.
  12. Canada EH!

Welcome - and greetings from Swift Current!
  13. What glue to use to adhere 15LB sign foam to itself?

If you are looking at small parts that would be difficult to clamp down, I would suggest epoxy. Gorilla Glue is great, but it will push apart small parts unless you can hold them together while it cures.
  14. Lost my dog Jake today

Sorry to hear of your loss, Eric. “The best friend a man has in the world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and good name...
  15. Armed or Unarmed?

Not coming originally from a gun culture country, the subject of armed citizens is intriguing to me. Are there any U.S. statistics showing how many bad situations were avoided/thwarted by the 'victim' being armed?
  16. Using Paypal for CC processing

Thanks for all the input - as mentioned, being in Canada means some options aren't yet available to us. For the volume we do by CC, I think we'll just stick with Paypal until things change. We just can't justify monthly fees.
  17. Using Paypal for CC processing

Greetings! For those of you who use Paypal to process credit card purchases in your shop (not online purchases, but those where the cardholder is present) what procedure do you follow? I'm actually asking this wearing a non-signperson hat - I am involved with our local animal shelter and...
  18. google +

I realize I'm probably a luddite, but all this social media stuff constantly reminds me of "the Emperor's Clothes". I just don't get it....
  19. Latex in hospitals/schools?

I agree - otherwise all that latex paint on the walls would be an issue!
  20. Cutting issues with GS15+

Greetings! Our normally-reliable GS15+ has started mis-cutting. It seems to be random, and the result is that perhaps several letters in a word are mis-placed up or down, consequently pooching the job. Or perhaps the centre of an 'O' will drop down compared to the outer shape. Edited to add...
