Interesting topic. I'm in a similar situation--operated a JV3 for 8+ years and am receiving a new JV33 next week. Any tips, pointers, differences, etc. that I should be aware of? I'm interested to hear opinions from folks who have operated both machines (JV3 and JV33).

We have used Triangle inks for the JV3 with the Easy Fill Pro bulk system for around 7-8 years with no problems at all. The inks are superior to OEM in price, color and durability.

Well, that's just what they are--stories. When I recommend Triangle ink, my recommendation comes from personally using the product for 7+ years--not from hearsay or anecdotal musings.

It is called Ink Layers in my version Flexi. RIP and Print>Advanced>Driver Options>Ink Layers This is for a Mimaki JV3 setup, though. As previously noted, the RIP options and nomenclature vary according to the printer setup.

The ellipsis is not necessary. You have it correct. The abbreviation for "et cetera" should be preceded by a comma and followed by a period.

What OS are you running? You may need to download a driver for the dongle that is compatible with the OS.

Sorry to hear about that glitch. What version of Flexi are you running? I don't have an answer as to why that is happening. But, in order to check for that issue prior to printing you can do this: When sending the file to RIP and Print select the Hold in List option. Then you can go to...

I'm not sure how that would work on an SP. On the S models which only have 3 heads, you can print in 4-color mode using only 2 heads by simply choosing a 4-color print mode which doesn't use the thirds LmLc head.
