  1. Autocad for Mac

Have you tried it yet? I'm downloading the trial now... I use AutoCAD '07 on Windows (via VM Ware Fusion) when I need it but I've started using CadTOOLS and Illustrator more. I kinda miss the drawing style of AutoCAD so I hope this Mac version is just as good as it's Windows counterpart.
  2. Perspective Drawing

Content aware fill was the main reasons I upgraded my entire "master suite" and it was WELL worth the cost just for that ONE feature.
  3. Perspective Drawing

I've played with it but haven't found it too useful for what I do. If I was more of an "illustrator" I think it'd be awesome. I have used the Isometric drawing tools with the CadTools plug-in from time to time and found that very useful for construction drawings.

  5. whats ya hobby

I've gotten in to Photography lately... found out it's a very expensive hobby. If you're interested I've got some of my photos online: http://photos.jamiethole.com
  6. Adobe's "artboard" - Flexi's "document borders"

I'm just glad I could help! I agree with Doug 100%. These little threads are what keep me coming back. But I have to admit, the drama makes for some good weekend entertainment when things are slow. (Sorry for the delay.. been a bit busy and I forgot about this thread)
  7. problems with cutting fc8000

Sorry for the delay... Your blade is sticking out of the holder an 1/8" (.125")? My blade is barely visible if you look at it from the side. It sticks out maybe 3mils (.003") I think your blade may be extended to far. The FC8000 has a function that helps you set the correct blade depth. I...
  8. Adobe's "artboard" - Flexi's "document borders"

As soon as I unchecked the box the cut lines that were "cut off" appeared on the preview... After you un-check the box you have to click the auto panel button. That will recreate the panels to include all of the artwork. Here's a screen cap...
  9. Adobe's "artboard" - Flexi's "document borders"

I got it!! You have the "Panel to Border" Check on the "Panel" tab on the Rip/Print dialog
  10. Adobe's "artboard" - Flexi's "document borders"

Which version of Flexi? I've never heard of this... Like you I often just ignore the "substrate" and most of my artwork lies outside of that imaginary border. Can you send me the file?
  11. problems with cutting fc8000

A few questions: 1. What kind of vinyl? 2. What is the force set at? 3. How far does the blade extend past the blade holder? 4. How much vinyl are you cutting?
  12. Gran Turismo?

+1 ... I play my Xbox more than anything else, but I think I'd use the PS3 a little more with a setup like that ;)
  13. Help with a Roland XC 540

The lower stand where the wheels are measures 30.25" or 76.9cm I think that's the smallest you're going to get.
  14. Absolutley hilarious nut shot

You've posted an image of the loading video screen... not an actual video of link

  16. Typeface ID: "Salsas"

Well, I have another one of those customers. You know the kind. The ones who tell you to use "this" font, but have no idea what "this" font is. But that's okay, because, I have Signs101! So, if anyone would be so kind as to look at the attached image, and see if they recognize the typeface...
  17. Bad Wraps Alternative

I heard they were having issues with drive failures so I copied all the templates to another drive. You should call your dealer and see if they'll do anything for you.
  18. Happy Birthday Neato!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHILIP!!! :birthday: (I used all caps because I was really shouting that)
  19. Is the Easel dead?

Mostly... now that we have the laminator I use that to mount just about everything. Also, I've always thought it was easier to layout vinyl when it's flat. I can move the material around and measure it out without having to constantly tape and un-tape the vinyl to the substrate because it was...
  20. Is the Easel dead?

I've got a 4' x 20' easel on the wall... don't use for much more than staging prints these days. I've been thinking about tearing it out to free up some room. Just don't have much need for it these days.
