Select the "Vertical Dimension" -or- "Horizontal Dimension" tool in the tool bar. Then in Design Central change all your settings to what you'd like. Then click the "Arrow" (Select Tool) button in the tool bar. This will change the defaults for the Dimension tool.

I have the same issue with my RS.... I usually have to go up the next pressure setting and just deal with crushing the cells.

I'm another 3M "snob". But most of our signage is long-term outdoor and/or lighted. 3M 7725 Series for Opaque 3M 3630 Series for Translucent Various 3M IJ-xxxx for printed graphics. I do however use Oracal 3651 for temporary prints, never had any issues with it.
