  1. 24 gauge Steel Sign Blanks

Thank you! I found that they have a lot of aluminum, but not what I need.
  2. 24 gauge Steel Sign Blanks

I normally get these from Glantz, but they're a few weeks out. Anyone willing to share a source for 18" x 24" White round-cornered steel sign blanks? :thankyou:
  3. $75,000

I think it's beautiful. I'd pay a lot more than $75,000 for that campaign.
  4. Does your artwork fee mean you hand ownership to customer?

Sell them what they want at a price you are willing to do it for. Shades of gray take on color in being competitive, and finding the color that sparks potential clients and yourself gets tough. It's as cut & dried as you want it to be, unless there is more profit for you in a more complicated...
  5. Scratch off stickers?

On a side note about that - There's no saying the label can't be removed and re-applied. To prevent that would bring it to be a Gerber Edge tamper foil short run. Unless you can sell the novelty of the idea with every card having a maximum discount that he would be willing to honor assuming it's...
  6. Scratch off stickers?

Why not print a bunch of kiss-cut circles of his logo patterned across a sheet on low tack vinyl and apply them to the cards? He'd be happy to apply them himself to save some $, and you'll come out ahead by not having to do that while selling an option that makes you money & makes him happy.
  7. Scratch off stickers?

Believe it or not, he may be better off with pull-tab cards. I'm not kidding. Don't hold to what I'm saying as some sort of wise advise or knowledge, but I will say that I'm sure what he wants can be achieved with other methods that in the end will deliver the same effectiveness at a lower cost...
  8. Scratch off stickers?

+ 1, and good luck meeting price point w/quality. RUN
  9. Easiest way to request name change

The bass player in my band often talks of becoming a pirate. We have long discussions concerning the details of such an endeavor.
  10. Does your artwork fee mean you hand ownership to customer?

I always supply the art in various formats. They can do whatever they want with it. I explain that some people don't, and it becomes a value added selling point. I simply charge accordingly, and it's always more than the other guy, but people buy because they like to know they own it. I'm the...
  11. outside canvas?

They would like something to be suitable for what it is not. Sell them proper outdoor signage. Turn them onto Dibond mounted to a frame of your choice and wrap it properly. Apply a canvas filter to the graphic if necessary.
  12. ink ink everywhere

What a mess! "Red, blue, and yellow ink cartridges were inside the truck, but Ferson said there is no evidence the yellow ink was released." Funny - I see yellow...
  13. Band Logo

I agree. Some of the things I do for the band I put time into, and others "some" time. This is one of them. Usually it has to do with a quick-to-print situation.
  14. Colorgate Multiple Up Container

When I set up a container (contains 28 images) and step that container 10-up (5 columns & two rows) it appears exactly correct on screen. However, after ripping it shows a column of two at the printer station. :helpGoing mental on this one. Anyone know what I'm referring to?
  15. Band Logo

  16. Band Logo

Thank you , No really - THANK YOU for your suggestions. I thought that also about the ribbons. There's actually a lot of garbage going on with the ribbons (things I left in on accident) that once I deleted kind of took away from the overall feel. It seems the distracting elements play as a point...
  17. Band Logo

Yah - I'm not sold on the font at all, but I intend to use the symbol without the name beneath. I think the symbol could use distressing and such for things that those effects are be appropriate for, but want the symbol to be something that can stand alone and look good with or without knowing...
  18. Band Logo

Here's how it looks on a flyer. Rip me up! I'll be disappointed if you don't!
  19. Band Logo

Are you guys on this team? I couldn't find that anywhere. What is the team's actual name? Now that you mention it I agree it looks like a ball of sorts, but it also looks like the initials ALB within a circle. For my band it's a great symbol, and any similarities are purely coincidental...
