For doing box trucks our scaffolding is the best tool. I work better when i feel sure footed and secure, not balancing on a ladder. As far as tools, torch and a rollepro make short work of any rivets. What about the truck made it particularly difficult? usually big box trucks are pretty...

They went after the environment first and foremost, saying its too dry and not consistent in temp. We got everything in spec for them and it still wasn't good enough. We installed a $8000 humidification & RO system in our building to keep the humidity levels at 50% exactly and its climate...

Fluctuation of negative pressure while we printed and a lot over night. They said it was the environment changes overnight causing the fluctuation at night (getting cooler at night). You can try to take that negative pressure adjustment valve/ knob off and try blowing it out. Sometimes dust and crap gets in that. We have chased negative pressure issues since day 1 with our cet hybrid and replaced tons of parts. It seems to level out for a while once we clean things out or...

  15. Employee mistakes

Everyone makes mistakes, owners, employees, sub contractors. It happens. If it happens a lot or often with the same employee, obviously they are being careless/ negligent with your equipment and tools and that shouldn't be tolerated. If it was an honest mistake, make sure they know and move...
  16. flat bed printers

If you do a lot of 2 sided printing i know we have a hard time with front back registration on our CET hybrid when running full 4'x8' sheets of coro. Knowing what we know now as far as workload on the machine we would do a true flatbed. Being able to run banners that are instantly cured is...

I agree with this! With the correct techniques and any good wrap vinyl you shouldn't have any problems. Just need to learn/ practice proper technique.

A good steamer will also help install chrome a lot better vs. a heat gun or IR heater.
  19. Typical bleed?

How long are you spending on these designs?
  20. Typical bleed?

To me, every installer is different. This comes down to personal preference. If she is the installer and has wrapped in the past talk to her about what shes had in the past. Really no right or wrong (well no bleed would be wrong i guess) answer here.
