I find if comical that on P31 "MetroWrapz.com" is featured... Considering metrowrapz and metrorestyling are one in the same and fellers created cheetahwraps to compete with metrorestyling.
little things in life that entertain me on long days :Big Laugh
We got another one for 80 banners yesterday, and though my boss got excited over the thought of the order i was suspicious.
We ended up just deleting the email and going on with business.
Oracal just came out with a new film "8870 Blockout film" It is black during the day and illuminates white, or white and illuminates black. Might be something to look at.

+1 for the 60+" printer, if you are going to be doing wraps you will enjoy the larger size. You can still run smaller media on it and utilize what you already have, but the ability to go just a bit bigger on wraps and banners is a huge plus.
Where did you find a roller for an application like this?
We have looked for large rubber rollers for a few other applications and have never been able to locate a good source
Awesome project.
How thick is that carbon you cut? Ive always wondered if we could cut carbon on our CNC (any advice on bit size and speed would be awesome, and where you got the carbon sheets) :rock-n-roll:
Depending how long the old graphics have been on, it is our experience that shop rate for removal trumps cost of new material.
Plus ghosting can be an issue.
I agree with the above post, justin pate has great instruction, if you can find a hands on class local, jump at it. If not "the wrap institute" videos are well worth the money.
I also like the top one, but i didn't even see the "& graphics"
I agree on painting the brick white also for a nice clean look, the white and blue would look sharp together
sounds like you might not be "selling" the customers on the banners (though 7 or 8 of 10 isnt bad numbers for closing a sale)
Are these phone quotes or in store?
We are by far the most expensive place in our area for banners, yet we had a record year for banner sales. Customers come to us for...
Used glass at the last shop i worked at and it was awesome.
Don't know why but the self healing mats don't last around here. We have had this most recent one about 1.5 years, its been flipped, flopped and rotated a dozen times... its shot already.
We do it here also. 3 full time employees and the owner.
Everyone has their job/ specialty and we all stick to it. It can be done but sometimes it feels a little like "jack of all trades master of none" around here.
