Just as an update, no photos sadly but we did get that job finished, had to do some clean up work but we did do another recently and found that we had the (feed) direction the wrong way. A few tests and we are getting a lot cleaner of a cut. In the end i will end up cleaning it up a little bit...

We had a roland without one when i started working here, when we started looking at 2nd printers i INSISTED on one with. we run with our take up on 90% of our jobs, i hated babysitting the roland and god help us if a customer came in mid print i had to talk to... nothing is more frustrating/...

I let all prints out gas 24-48 hours depending on how busy we are in the shop, so im not so much worried about that. My big question is why do sales reps at multiple companies tell us to use 3651 and ij35c if its not intended for that? asfar as the 3551 what do they justify as no/ minimal...

Sadly, no joke here. What is it exactly about full bleed that makes things go (for lack of a better term) "wonky" on graphics? Now that you say it, all of these were full bleed.

we only have a 24" plotter here and its rare that i really need anything larger. When i do i load it on our roland or mimaki printers since they will also print and cut. To me having a 54" plotter and a 54" printer plotter is a little redundant. the 24" plotter is fine for 99% of what we need...
