no dont use a galvanized 2x2 L clip. Use some alum angle. And do not use 3/4" pvc for a 30sqft sign on posts. its going to warp and look like crap in under 6 months. HDU or extira is a much better substrate for outdoor sign use.
they are also some of the biggest POS signs I have ever installed, god help the people who service those signs with that horrible hinge design and subframe they used.:frustrated:
to answer your question, this is a case where you would use a two part epoxy system such as 3m weld on 45 or lord... dont want to use that suff to hold things against walls where it will eventually just crack because it has no give. thats where silicone comes into play
