I am trying to find the closest equivalent to this font. Its from a 1978 USAF Technical order for painting call signs on planes. The document calls the style single stroke gothic. Any help is appreciated.
Keep them separate. The idea of keeping them next to each other is appealing but in actuality, they will probably not run at the same speed anyway. Most likely, one will be waiting or the other to finish. No matter how good your debris vac and air filtration, you will be generating dust. Keep...
I just completed the prototype for a shop table I have been thinking about ever since I built this workbench for my garage. It has a 5'x12' surface and is almost entirely cut from 3/4" shop grade plywood. The top is 3/4" MDF with 1x2 poplar edging. The pieces are cnc cut and aligned with 1/2"...
You want to perform the steps in the dialog from left to right printing out each target and entering the values in order. Its worth mentioning that you have probably the most knowledgeable XL tech around in Forney TX. If you can you should try to get a hold of Luther Allison at XL and Beyond...
The cable gerber supplies is a null modem serial cable. You may be able to get around using it via emulation or an adapter but the plotter needs to think its there. I bought my plotter used without the cable and wound up with this configuration. I use a Manhattan serial to USB adapter attached...
I'm going to take a stab at this one thanks. Considering the sites selling these posters, I would have thought a higher res digital file might be available.
I just ran across this site and I thought I would mention it to the community. It appears to be some sort of a color value wiki. Search for a color and you get a page with several different numeric values for that color including cieLAB. I am about to try it for matching a call out from a...
I received a call Friday about 3pm for for 7 4'x6' vinyl banners and a 10'x8' fabric banner due today (Monday) at noon. It was tight but I could pull it off so I asked when I could have art from them. The reply was that they had sent quotes to 3 other shops and they would release files to...
Not having a constant humidity and temperature will be a headache if color consistency is important to you. When the environment fluctuates, so will the color and you will want to pull your hair out if you need to reprint a panel for a mural or vehicle wrap.
We use rapid remover typically but I was given a sample of Bio Breakdown and it seems pretty good as well. The other products look interesting as well.

Your application settings and your input profiles should match. My RIP settings are below (not Wasatch)

US Web Coated Swop Perceptual
Use embedded profiles checked.
If your primarily print coro, you should be sure and check the ink adhesion with any machine you look at. I know some users are having problems with the sericol inks used in the Oce Arizonas on coro. Conversly, I hear the HP FB machines do really well on coro. The last thing you want to to start...
Unfortunately, the Fotoba uses a pinstripe crop mark around the edges of a print so using a knife to reveal them is more trouble than trimming by hand. I have a knife on my multicam so this method is a good option but the Fotoba is so much faster. I will have to check if low tac adhesive is an...
I do not think that will work unless I am missing something. Here is a little more information. I will be printing several hundred of these at a time and possibly up to one thousand. I will reverse print onto clear cling and apply a white vinyl backer to the printed side of the clear. I intend...
