  1. Marriage

Marriage rates are at an all time low and dropping rapidly. Makes sense demographically. That said, I'm married, love being married but what's so hard about a prenup?
  2. Fabrics for the Latex

No worries, the Museo caught my eye as it's one of my favorites for affordable yet high quality aqueous photo printing. A double sided blockout fabric? That's interesting. We don't do a ton of fabric, what's the use case? Flags? By the way we're also working our way through that photo realistic...
  3. QR Code size

http://www.google.com/mobile/goggles/ been out a few years, no one uses it. Keep going, but things that happen without you having to point your phone at something are much more useful, which is why I think geoloc adverts will continue to grow as opposed to optical recognition. We're really...
  4. Onyx 10.1 bit depth?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vW27eOUQVUg I was writing out a response but this is easier. We leave it as smart 16-bit full time but we do a lot of work with gradients and transparency. You might consider checking a couple books out from the library on color theory, gamuts, bit depth, delta-e...
  5. sign painters might get a kick out of this

High end, known art actually holds value better than just about anything else. Most purchases of that level are investment purchases. And even if they weren't, it's no different from buying a Ferrari (though which also tend to hold value...). Trying to stay out of the thread as talking art with...
  6. QR Code size

In 15 years it will just pop up on your phone as you enter or pass through the area, and by "phone" I also mean through the backend integration of your vehicle into your phone OS. And it'll be in way less than 15 years...
  7. QR Code size

Doesn't matter if it will scan or not, no one is doing it. In the time period it takes to drive by the mark has to notice the sign, realize it has a qr code, get out their phone, launch their qr scan app, and take the moment for the app to recognize the code. Not happening. They're for walk-up...
  8. Job Management software

Filemaker Pro is just a database program like MS Access, it's not a dedicated Job Management Software. It is what you have the time, patience and knowledge to make it. There's a lot you could never do with it that you can with an actual project management software but it can be configured to...
  9. Fabrics for the Latex

Fish a lot of those aren't fabric. Those that are actually fabric from what I can see are: 8 Mil Water Resistant 100% Polyester Fabric Light 8 Mil 36"x150' $0.30 8 Mil Water Resistant 100% Polyester Fabric Light 8 Mil 42"x150' $0.30 8 Mil Water Resistant 100% Polyester Fabric Light 8 Mil...
  10. pricing for menu changes?

We don't do any cut vinyl menus any more. All full digital prints, have been since the early '00s. They want a change, rip it off, print, apply. Those types of tiny jobs just aren't worth it, too fussy.
  11. QR Code size

Scanning while driving doesn't work, which is why QR codes on billboards are stupid. ucmj22 is on the money.
  12. inventory time

We do this (excel chart), not as frequently, and with lots and lots and lots of rolls of media. Just frequently enough to comply with the needs of the corporate accountant and government. I'd like to see us automate the process more but it's completely out of my hands / job description.
  13. Great way to start your day.

Things were eating us in this spectrum, helps if we can see them. And vise versa. If we ate pollen we'd see in a different spectrum. There's nothing magical about this nor mystical but definitely amazing :).
  14. @colorado

They're both unlikable. Should be great games this weekend, all four match ups are intense.
  15. Nfl

Falcons are a timing passing team, break their rhythm early and they have trouble recovering, especially if you can shut down Turner. Just so happens that defenses that make the playoffs tend to be pretty good at messing with timing teams.
  16. @colorado

Great game, defense came up big when it mattered and Thomas was a beast. Still not sold on Tebow the ball comes out of his hands like a wounded duck. Great game plan and executed well, very fun to watch. Love that Polamalu's overpursuit and aggression was so well exploited like it was in SB XLV...
  17. Just took the plunge and purchased a new shop

Where are you putting the designer(s)? Can't all be shop space, need a bit of office area.
  18. Wrap it good!

This (answer: they don't learn it, it's not taught, conclusion: designer hasn't been taught) And This (seriously is it that hard to avoid papyrus, times, arial, comic sans and brush script?!) -------------- I like the logo placement on the truck though :thumb:
  19. It's come to this. Drumming up business

We've actually been really busy the last two years (this fall was slow but end of year got slammed) though it's mostly been corporate / enterprise, not walk in. Walk in numbers are way, way down year over year. Walk in seems like it works best when you have a market perception as a specialist...
  20. new image viewer on mouse-over

You overestimate your impact on others. :peace!:
