set the origin point before you begin. it should return to the same origin afterwards. if not call graphtec. they have great phone techs.

you cant design in CB. It is just a layout RIP to run your files created in AI, PS, COREL, whatever. As long as it is an EPS or PDF or TIFF it will run fine.

believe it or not we like to use the 3MIJ180 16 pass 1440x1440 profile. We also max out the weave. comes out flawless. We're running colorburst.

it depends on your print. if you have a lot of ink especially darker colors you will need to use curl free so your edges dont curl.

duratrans is backlit film that is developed in a kodak developer type printer using chemicals like traditional photoprints from a photo lab. people use the term for any translucent backlit type material. we use SBL7 with the new colorburst epson backlit 1440 x1440 profile.

goto colorburst and upgrade to the latest version. a new epson backlit profile should come bundled with it. it is much brighter than the previous version. ftp://ftp.colorburstrip.com/downloads/Epson_StylusPro_GS6000/ also - yes you can set it to double hit in properties but it comes out too...

i used to run a 64s. deep dark reds are almost impossible. it is out of gamut using those inks.

go buy one and put it in your lobby next to one of yours. you will see the difference. the black and white is run on a plotter using a plotter pen for building floor plans. not an 8 color solvent machine. no gradients. just black line art. so cheap bond on a roll is about $.15 psf the crap...
