depends on the client. 98.5% dont really care. 1.5% are super anal and need special care. On the 1.5% the proper way would be to profile after lam and profile for each lam. For ex 3M 8518 has a yellowish tint that will produce results different than using another laminate. If you 1.5%...
I use decals but stickers does not offend me. since we also do print on paper work my next question is usually what type of material do you what your "sticker" printed on? If they say paper it is going over to print side if they say vinyl i keep the call.
I think you missed my point. i meant if I were your landlord - I would just sit back until you build up the client base - traffic - flow then i your landlord would buy a printer and cutter and take all our your - the sub lease's clients. then just break the lease with you or let it run out but...

$248.00 load the clip art on it and have them look at it on the counter.
SAVE THE TREES DUDE!
i never downplayed the storm.
i only made a comment about weathermen in full gear standing in 3" inches of water.
I never said it was "hype" I never said it was "a joke" other posters did and somehow I own it? gimme a break.
So to all that have misread my post here is a giant purple...
in case some of you dont know what it means:
o·ver·zeal·ous (vr-zls)
adj.
Excessively enthusiastic: overzealous movie fans; an overzealous manager
Adj. 1. overzealous - marked by excessive enthusiasm for and intense devotion to a cause or idea; "rabid isolationist"
fanatic, fanatical, rabid...
hey dont be pissed at me. I'm not Irene.
this is the shot i was referring too.
funny how people read more into what was actually posted and make assumptions based on their own situations. gotta love forums.
hope you get yourself back together. you seem a bit frazzled.
$105.00 per truck? how much was your bid?
Honestly, I'd tell them to pick up a couple day laborers and some plastic scrapers. It's not really our favorite thing to be doing.
BUT in your case your landlord is leaching off your advertising dollars. You need to move out and go elsewhere. If...
why are you out the cash? give them to your client and tell them have a great day. if it is the first time they order they would not know what you normally print the banners on.
What you see as "cheap" maybe be just right in the clients eyes.
banner is a general term. could be scrim...
haha really?
I was watching the news and there is a weather man standing in about 3" of water on coney island talking about the storm surge coming onshore. REALLY? 3" c'mon
We get 3" on a summer day here in Miami all the time.
Nothing irks me more than an overzealous weather man in full...
A client blew me off on my quote and showed me this. I understand it is a leap of faith buying stuff directly from hong kong and the orbus unit has a lifetime warranty. BUT how can we compete with this kind of stuff out there. People are very price sensitive and are willing to make that...
Find your local paper distributor or printing supply distributor. We have MAC PAPERS here. They sell 5 gallon jugs of it. We buy 55 gal drums of it. We use it to clean the press rollers.
We stock 3640G and 3640M. since I get 3640G cheaper I use it as an all purpose glossy vinyl. if the job is going to be laminated i run it on 3640G.
I like the 3M ij35c-10 for intermediate stuff. not crazy expensive, has a grey adhesive, and air egress. nice stuff.
