  1. do you sale your "juice"

Meh! ... if they are going to install graphics themselves ... I would rather sell them a marked up bottle of rapid remover than see them run to home despot to get goo gone (which is fine) or another chemical that can make things more difficult for me later on if they decide to do it themselves...

  7. applying vinyl on magnets. please help!

As mosh and the others have said, for most magnetics all you need to do is apply vinyl magnet and trim to size (probably a trim line will help) since most rolls of magnetic are 24.5" wide ... not fun to do with a 24x26 graphic. just apply like any flood coat, provide yourself and overlap, apply...

  11. layout critique please

First off, your combatant ... i'm assuming from the 5 non cut ready color overlaps that this is going to be printed ... as such, why is there so much detail in him and so little amount of detail in the obviously metal shield, and also, if you're going to pay that much attention to detail ... pay...
  12. One of those days...

I feel your pain. last week my invoicing computer ate it hard, this week was my design/cutting computer. dead in the water for 2 more days until I get my new system and the software for it. Could have brought in my own systems to keep us afloat ... but drama prevents that.
  13. plotter shifting vinyl roll when cutting

don't look at your cut utility to optimize the cutting order, the ACTUAL order in which they are LAYERED in the document should be ordered. I don't want to be insulting to what you know, so please do bear with me. (I know what I say can be a little a-hole sounding ... it's not) order of...
  14. plotter shifting vinyl roll when cutting

well here are some things to try (with a pen in the cutter and some paper first) ... slow down your speed, especially with reflective you're causing a tone of drag on the graphics, layer the objects seperately (remember, vector graphics have an order of objects from top to bottom) and make...
  15. Question for home based businesses

Techman isn't wrong ... answering every call does not make you a salesman. it does make sure you have good customer service skills though, same as smiling when on the phone since that translates in the inflection of your voice and using proper conversational skills. Lack of customer service...

And as we all know ... you make...
  19. cheeky little font

Just make your own ... if you haven't found it by now ... you can probably make that entire typeface in about 20 minutes to an hour. it is just a box with a completely rounded edges, and the following letters would use that box in some shape or form ... abcdegmnopqrsuy
  20. EstiMate 2 Issue

Well, sadly, last backup wasn't in the last few years. from the FAQ I found that I could just copy the data folder .. which should contain all my info (atleast the estimates) ... but doesn't say anything about loading them ... we shall see when I try to load it back into a data folder and try...
