I'm with ya, Karyn! We love the Triangle JVS ink, too, eforer. However, I still get handprints, etc, when the media is contaminated.

You don't use PM (RIP and print) to print to a desktop printer. Simply select Print from the menu. Pre-tile your image in Flexi, and Print.

Try another banner material. I actually prefer my banner (and all other media) to be reverse-wound. It stays pristine during storage and is much easier to handle this way. I routinely print full rolls of RW banner, unattended overnight with zero problems with sticking, banding, etc.

Bingo. PPI (pixels per inch) how many pixels per square inch in the file. DPI (Dots per inch) how many dots of ink the printer lays down per inch. There is no relation between the two. 72 ppi should be more than sufficient for 15' text. 360x540 dpi should be suffucient for...

Says who? What imperical evidence makes this "absoloutely" a profile issue? My ink usage varies from color to color depending on, amongst other things, what I'm printing. Typically, though, I go through the light colors a bit slower than the others. I've been running this printer over 3...

So we've talked a bit in the past about the serious over-use of fonts like Comic Sans and, more recently, Papyrus. The new culprit is Copperplate. I'm seeing this everywhere--from logos to signs to ads to TV shows. What gives? I'm also seeing a ton of "Balloon" on signs--not a good thing...

Be careful monkeying around in service mode. You can lock up your machine with some of the settings. For example, if you go into capping adjust and get it out of whack...the machine won't operate. Ask me how I know:Big Laugh :Big Laugh

If you're gonna go 6 color, then why not get the S (rather than the SP)?

We've had our 160S for three or four years now. It's a workhorse!! We run 6 color with a bulk in system. The JV3 is a fine printer!! Great choice.:thumb:

Yes, one is more to the left. You should really change this with each media you print on. I have setups for various media, however they do change with room temp, humidity, etc.

I wouldn't use AutoSave, personally. I've seen major problems with accidentally saving things you didn't want.
