Draw a rectangle directly over the yard stick. Use this rectangle to mask the photo. Set the width of the masked photo to 36". Unmask the photo, and all will be scaled.

Andy, I use the same method. I save as a tif with the icc profile embedded (anywhere from 72-300ppi depending on the application).

Separate the effects, select both the outline and drop shadow and weld.

Sounds like Chris nailed it--too much ink / too little heat. You could always add a white hairline around objects to minimize the bleeding, also.

I agree. I set my heads at high and never looked back--still output great prints. I run my 13 0z at around 50/50 with no buckling or head strikes.

When you import a tif into flexi and save it, the tif becomes a Flexi file. It still exists in the original location you imported it from until you delete it, though.

I can also vouch for the Triangle Inx. We've been running the JVS series for the Mimaki for about 3 years. They are full solvent, though, and run around $100/liter.
