You could try the resin, but I believe the "heat" generated will cause you more problems. As you might already know, the best solution is total replacement.

How long have you had the 7000-100? When did the problem start? Is the problem consistent with all media?

The BN-20 is the new mini/desktop VersaCamm from Roland. Decal and MotoCross applications would do well on the BN-20. However, if you get into large quantities and quick turnaround the BN-20 will not do the job.

I am afraid if you are "dead on" on the overlay, you will get light bleeding through. You really need to overlay the black by a "hair" to eliminate the light bleed through

Here's food for thought! Your media is delivered via truck and rarely are the trucks climate controlled. Therefore, humidity is going to be absorbed into the rolls. Not sure what steps can be taken to draw out the humidity, once the media gets to your shop. Perhaps a seperate de-humidifier...

Are you considered a suburb of St. Louis? How would a "salesman" know you have a Roland printer? Have you done business with this "salesman" before? What sort of considerations have you given to 3rd party plug-n-play inks in the past?

I would strongly recommend printing that COLOR CHART on your TOP FIVE media selections. That way, you can assure the customer they will get the ORANGE on the right media for their job.
