    Dropout can many times be attributed to captops not sealing well... have you replaced them?

    Clean your printer on a regular basis. You may have an overspray problem or possibly the cut trailing cable has a lot of ink and metal dust built up on it. Be careful installing yourself.... these can be scratched relatively easy.
