    Welcome to Signs101. I like the Roland and Mimaki eco-solvent printers over most out there. You will also need a quality laminator as well. Roland just released a 42" VersaCamm that can be run CMYKx2 and a Royal Sovereign or Seal Base laminator would be a great combination

    During the install of VW, you should have been prompted to install the 300v Printer driver... if you choose no, what you describe is what happens. If it did not prompt you, the Windows 7 and VW 2.x could be the issue To solve the issue, you might need to contact Roland DGA to get an updated...

    Are you removing all power from the system before touching the PH cables? Unplug the machine. As cheap as they are, buy new printhead cables and a new fuse. POWER OFF and UNPLUG!

    Your upgrade will include a new USB dongle that is compatible with version 8.5 and higher. You will be prompted to install the old usb key during the Flexi install to terminate the old purple dongle. Call me if you have any questions or concerns.
