Wont be able to open the LetterArt files but there are design/cutting programs out there for $200-$400 that would work with your Ioline and Graphtec. CiberCut, WinPCsign, and others.
Your Graphtec probably needs a few...
Very cool. The slower carriage speeds can sometimes create a load on the motor also if any build up is on the carriage rail.
A drop or two of "3-in-1 Oil", also known as Machining Oil can help reduce the friction.
DO NOT USE WD-40 OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT!
I would recommend downloading the Users manual for this unit from Roland's website to get familiar with your printer. It will uncover a lot of issues for you.
NO... remove the drain bottle and connect a syringe to the tube there and pull gently.
This will pull from both heads.
If you want to pull only from the yellow/magenta head, disconnect the captop from the pump and connect your syringe to the captop tube.
Bad Captop. Worn seal or clogged.
Replace it and run a few cleans. Should be good, unless your Magenta cartridge has drawn enough yellow ink into it to contaminate it.
