Anyone know where I could find (even purchase) the chromed versions of the Marines logo. Everything I came accross so far on the internet is too low of resolution. I don't feel like "chroming out" the vector art I have as of yet if I could get it already done.
Thanks in advance =)
I just had a new computer build and got it up and running two days ago. It is a 64 bit system. I installed all the eye candy and other filters into my flexi and it works fine as long as you put them in the Flexi plugins folder.
at this moment I am looking for the USMC logo myself - not the vector one - the gold and silver chromed one. of course the marine has it on his business card but doesn't have the art. could only find low res images of it when searching.
I don't use illy either but I do this look in Corel all the time. I change a solid background to a bitmap and use the camera filter with the lens flare effect and adjust the rays, flares and brightness. Quick and easy.
We have the CE5000-60. When we first got it from the factory we had the same issues with tracking. We have a friend who fixes these in the biz. He came out and said one of the wheels was at a slight angle (which we couldn't notice). He adjusted it and it tracked great. Just recently it started...
I would like to chime in here. I have been in the sign industry since 1989. When my husband and I decided to open our own business we did not have the money to do it. So, he went on ebay and purchased a 24" master. Having used all the good brand named plotters out there - I was not happy at all...
Regardless whether I like it or not, Kudos for you for getting it wrapped. I've been wanting to wrap mine for a couple years. I can design for everyone but me. I'm never happy and I wish mine was wrapped. Again...KUDOS!
Ryan is now covering Nanos customers. He is great too. (Nano unfortunately was in their 'cut backs' and now from what I was told Nano is on his own now.) Give Ryan a call at Sign Supply he can help you.
I lucked out. I was in the same boat as you. Way too busy to sit and vectorize it, also on my end I didn't have artwork nearly as clear as yours looks, but I talked my customer into going in a realistic direction so I have found some nice mowers more along the line of the type he has. Sorry, if...
This is too funny! I have a customer with no artwork either that gave me a business card he got printed from vista print. Has that exact lawn mower on it and thats what i am looking for. I wish the copy I had looked that clear. Mine is so dark I can't make anything out or I would be able to...
I use flexi all the time for vectorizing - I wouldn't use anything else. I have other shops come to me all the type to vectorize stuff. In fact, just did some this morning. Tools are easy to use and it takes just seconds to clean-up what flexi doesn't. Now if they would just make flexi have...
