Well this is kind of a hobby (woodworking). So I never really kept track of time. I started a couple of months ago and worked on it on slow day's or weekends. as far as strength goes...I could park my truck on top of this!

Here is how I did one recently. Using ShineRite vinyl (it has the most aggressive adhesive of all) cut yourself a mask. Then using a high quality exterior latex, paint in the mask with the same color as the awning...red for red, blue for blue. This will seal the fabric and keep the top coats...
