The manufacturer of the banner material? Either your not using a material for latex printing or you have something in your settings not correct. 8pass, 10pass, 12pass? Heat/Cure Temp. Need more to give you the appropriate help. Just saying the banner scratches doesn't help alot. Could be...
  2. Choosing a specific Pantone

There is a Pantone Library. But it's not a swatch table at the bottom of your screen yet. If you make another swatch table and add the pantone library to it. All the pantone colors will appear on the bottom of your screen. So you could select object and just select color on the bottom to...
  3. Matte Vinyl Banner Scratching Solution?

Who is the manufacturer. You should be able to print banners with very minimal if almost no scratching.
  4. Choosing a specific Pantone

So why not just build a swatch table with all the colors in it. It takes like two seconds.
  5. Help Opening File

AI and EPS are way more useful then .fs A .fs file can only be used in flexi which limits your usage. A .EPS or .AI file can be used by almost all printing and designing software including flexi.
  6. Help Opening File

Doesn't make sense why that person would have the flexi file anyway. They are not going to be able to do anything with it. So why would a sign guy send a person a flexi file. Because they paid for it and wanted all original artwork. If you make a proof in .fs the customer can't do anything...
  7. Choosing a specific Pantone

There is. Go to the bottom of the flexi screen. Right click the swatch and click add new. Then go to the design central and open the color library. Select the new swatch you made and add all the pantone colors you want to it. Then all the pantones are now at the bottom of your screen. If...
  8. Screen printing vs dtg???

Screen print. but I think the inks being used for DTG are getting better and better. Problem is there are ink sets for screen printing that are very specific to the type of material it's being printed on. Cotton, polyester, etc. Using these inks appropriately will give you much longer...
  9. Node Edit is off?

Is there some sort of snap to grid, snap to guide, snap to nearest object setting selected?
  10. Help! Brand new Royal Sovereign laminator, issues with reverse wound rolls loading.

I had similar issues with a printer where the core would just spin around the spindle and wasn't actaully being held in place. We ended up putting rubber bands around the spindle in a few areas to give it more friction on the inside of the core. Some mfg.s just have smaller or larger cores.
  11. Purchased a new router and now my printer won't connect

Can you check the IP address of the Roland on the front panel of the printer and verify that the IP in production manager matches what is in Flexi. It is very possible when you changed your router that the ip address for the printer got changed also. So flexi is trying to connect to a printer...
  12. Recommendation on an odorless printer for indoor use

This picture you posted is just a graphic rendering. That is not a real static clean print. If you zoom in the resolution of the cling is worse then the resolution of the door. This is a picture of a door with a graphic rendering of the static cling placed on top.
  13. How would you install this?

Sorry. Most any industrial hardware supply place will have them. Grainger, White Cap, Mcfadden Dale. Not sure what area you are in. I haven't had luck at home depot though.
  14. How would you install this?

Yes. Drill holes and sink the bolts in with epoxy. I use plastic spacers to standoff from the wall. Then glue the flat side to the sign. I print/plot out the sign shape and the mounting position. Then use that to mark the back of the sign for bolt positioning and use it again to drill the...
  15. Hello All. Thoughts on Printers

Second this also. I have an HP L360 I love it and it is a dream. However if I couldn't easily get a tech out to me fast I would have gone a different route. You can pick any machine and it may work wonders for your company. But the second that machine goes down, and it will go down and some...
  16. Hello All. Thoughts on Printers

I was hoping some sort of flatbed but a hybrid will do. Just keep posting and they may see it haha.
  17. How was this Decal Produced?

I would second the screen print. Many of these type of stickers are done in sheets. Screen print the sheets. Cut and weed. And then to a table and a doming machine. Doming machine is usually setup to do multiple stickers on a sheet at the same time. ' Here is a good video that shows you the...
  18. Intel i7 6700k or 5820k?

Do you run a lot of different things at once. Then the 5820 if you run less process you can probably go with the 6700. Either is a good choice. 5820 will handle multiple things faster. Is the whole computer going to be liquid cooled or only the hard drive?
  19. How would you install this?

Elevator bolts glued to the back. Get spacers to space appropriately. Everything can be painted to match.
