That laminate only mentions UV resistant. It says nothing about being a UV protectant. I would say they sit in the sun all day everyday and that's where the issue is coming from. I would think the seam probably has an extra coat of something on that and that's why it's not fading that fast...
Why is it necessary for smaller stuff I don't understand. We run 14" vinyl with the take up reel and metal tension bar and never had an issue. I thought the 260 came with the plastic one also. It is the same as you describe though. And the new 360 does not come with the plastic ones.
Ahh. that is a much better ridge. I like the one with the badge on the left. I think when I read the one with badge in the center my eyes go from Stone to Lending and then after I see the Ridge. Nice looks good. Designing should always fit in your time schedule. You charge for design time...
Another thing the 360 does not have is a loop former. It has a tension bar that connects to spring arms on either side. Even pressure all the way across.
Then tell them to wash and wax the cars regularly. Then you won't have as much of these issues. Of course 7-10 years doesn't matter how much you wax or wash.
My guess is pressure issue. Maybe using too much pressure on your laminator. Is it height adjustable or pressure adjustable. For aluminum we use 90lbs pressure for coro we drop to 40

I was referring to the skew when you attach to the take up reel. If you tape onto take up reel and it's not perfect it will try to roll the media to one side. This could cause your buckling. Your skew on the machine is different.
Is it possible the take up roll is just a little too small and so it is jamming into the take up reel. is it possible when you put on take up real you had skewed a little and it is trying to wind sideways and pushing into one side of the take up. I ask because it doesn't seem like a heating...
Have you tried to do a print test with the saturation page. Try it out. Maybe your shop is less humid or hotter then where they were testing it. That would mean you need less heat. 200 is pretty low though I would think you should be fine at that heat.
You could be using the too much heat that is true. Where did the profile come from. Did you try to do it yourself. And no they are not all the same. 360 reels are metal bars about the size of the cores. The 330 comes with small bars with weird caps on the end. kind of like the take up for...
We have a heat lamp above our laminating table. Like you would on your back porch. Sometimes the edges curl up on some different media or laminate. We let it sit under the heater for 30 mins or so and it's perfectly flat when we come back. I don't know if they are too far gone already or not...
Are you winding up with print on outside or print on inside. Keep it rolled with the print facing out. That way your not changing the way the material is rolled up.
We have had this happen on a reflective material where we rolled it with the print on inside and because you are rolling against...
