OK, that's news to me. How to pull the rivet then? Special tool? Do they all come out and go back in the same way?

That looks good for wrap vinyl, but what about cut vinyl and transfer tape, which is stiff. How would that work?

I have problems installing cut vinyl over box-truck rivets. I get wrinkles in the vinyl. The taped vinyl 'tents' over the rivets. Then I have problems peeling the tape without ripping or pulling the vinyl off. I can't push the vinyl down over the rivet with the tape on because the tape is stiff...

Oh, I was careful to give her clear terms about revisions and extra charges for design. I saw this coming.. But she still manages to be incredibly annoying and is wasting my time any other way she can find.

Really, I've noticed this. Anyone else? I won't go into too much detail about my latest gem of a customer, but she talked me down to a very low price, after MONTHS of back and forth, for a new logo and a couple of signs, and it's been nothing but problems since. Endless stupid questions...

@phototec, the Pro Steel looks good. Does it have a rubber grip pad on the bottom? Also, any thoughts about the Sooper Edge Purple Ruler? It also has a stainless steel insert. It's in the Fellers book on page 96.

After almost five years of no serious injuries in my shop, my employee just cut his finger bad with a utility knife cutting a piece of PVC using a standard 4' straight edge. The knife slipped over the edge. An hour later, The Big Blue safety ruler that I ordered two days ago arrived. Amazing..

I'm happy to sell something nice to a customer. The problem is it's so hard to give an accurate quote for something like this, and most of the time, you lose time and money.

Yeah, I agree. I gotta try and talk him out of this. These are the kind of jobs I lose money on.

Yeah, I'd say definitely Helvetica. Probably italic with an extra shear applied to it.

Pics below - can this be purchased somewhere or is it a custom creation? It has a light on top, and a fluorescent tube under that crossbar. If custom, any idea how it can be easily made?

This thing is 6"x6" black w/ raised number "100". The "Softgate Systems" is on a little clear plastic strip that slides out. Anything fairly close to this would be good, I think. Any help is appreciated!..
