Indyimaging

The pipes on the left are 10" long with 6" protruding from post, the ones on right are 14" with 10" protruding. The gap between the ends of the pipes is about 45". I am able to slide the end of a 54" roll onto the longer pipe and have a 1" space to place it onto the second pipe.

We used 4"x4" pressuretreated posts and drilled holes all the way through for the 1/2" Rigid EMT. The hole was just big enough that we had to hammer the pipe in.

I tried to get the reflection by only using the first surface letter but I couldnt get it just right. I ended up engraving the text into the subsurface and placing a letter first surface. the reflection/shadow on the metalic silver is the true effect I had hoped for.

I tried it with red LED and got the red shadow cast on the silver metallic sub panel. Superbrightled.com(previous comment) had some great pre-fab units for edge lighting. I am planning on a large scale sign with this effect that would have to be custom built. I hope the customer likes the...
