Personally I think you will be better off with printing from one RIP VersaWorks, and not going back and forth. Just save your file to one location from all computers and bring into the one Computer (RIP) and print.

Everything has to run through the RIP. The RIP drives the printer, no big deal just get the file off the network and print.

I use quark all day every day, have them save as a pdf with the fonts downloaded, then you can bring into AI

try turning your heat down, also make sure you are not covering the exhaust fans in the back of the machine?

Save as 8.0 and go, that is the way we have been doing it for three yrs?

In my shop I have 5 Macs, and 2 PC's, I run both every day, I only use the PC's to open a file or converting a file to a pdf, or with my accounting. You can't even come close to a MAC when it comes to design, I am talking about real high end design, not fonts and reverses!

You first need to make sure the Mac is on the network, I am using an external HD (Buffalo) When I was looking some of them only worked with OSX, this one worked with 9 & X
