Jill's business and anyone like her's is probably the perfect example of how it can work. The hand lettered style and methods of sign making fit with this. If you wanted hand made furniture you don't go to the shop at the strip mall.
If you are a big corporation or retail establishment you...
Maybe you should start another thread directed at home based sign shops and ask how they have made it work out for them
I think that a home based shop might do ok in a rural setting but I cannot imagine how it would do well in larger cities and towns. Personally I would not shop for signs at...
Take it into photoshop, convert to black and white. Knockout the edges with a white brush tool and a rough edged brush. Autotrace it back into your vector program. No need for it to be perfect
You should keep better track of your orders than this. What about tax info for a legitimate business? Are you running a business out of your garage or basement?
There are numerous invoice programs out there... google it. Maybe Quicken to keep track of orders AND have proper records.
Since my posting about Freds clipart and steve's font garnered no reply... how about this? What about the thread regarding trimitbyrich and how he stole images from many members here? Should we not bring it up at this site because that is called "snitching" and no one likes it?
I don't...
Bob is always right and uses such really big large and also gigantic adult words that you cannot tell what he is saying. It confuses us lower bottom feeders
Go for it Jiarby. For those of you that say no one likes a snitch... at one point when is it ok or not ok to snitch? Everyone has something that bothers them for whatever reason.
Does someone have to be physically harmed in order to make it ok to snitch? Or is the software piracy not hurting...
Come on Rich, man up and admit to the mistake. We can see that you are reading this thread, you've deleted/suspended your FB page. Did your web guy post those there too?
Some will come on here and say quit jumping on him all at once like a mob but he should know better. The internet was not...
Let this be a lesson to anyone wanting to steal art. With nearly 20,000 users on here someone is going to recognize non original work
Save face and do the right thing. Don't steal
Bull, someone is lying. So when someone made his website he did not look at it and say "where did you get those images from"?
Or his work is so awesome that people are copying stuff from his site. Yeah that's it
Maybe not, I would have sworn you would have picked some sort of Mac
So after all those posts defending picking a mac over a pc, what was the deciding factor of picking this 2.2 inch plastic brick versus the sleek 1" aluminum mac? Was it the price?
Didn't we just have a similar conversation a couple weeks ago?
Another thing that really does stand out are the Apple retail stores. Gateway used to have them, they failed. Dell has them, but no one gets too excited about those
Sure cool is not the only reason to buy a computer, phone...
That Asus is in a different league from an ipad. It is somewhere between an ipad and a laptop. I would not compare the two. I am sure that if apple wanted to produce an Asus equivalent they could do so, but it would be thinner, sleeker and albeit more expensive
Apple said they did not want to...
Wow after watching that video I am neither impressed with the Cintiq nor that Asus. There seems to be alot of lag on the stylus touching the screen and the resulting brush stroke. I tried the same thing on PHotoshop and my intuous tablet has no lag whatsoever
Can anyone with a cintiq confirm...
