The only good way to do that is to borrow or buy a x-rite i1 spectrophotometer. There is an i1 Match software that comes with it that will easily give you equivalency data
You can take a local college or online course for Illustrator or Photoshop....then you will be eligible for the student edition which is cheaper.....and you get up to speed quickly.

well it depends on what you mean by transparencies, but yeah it will do it. Just remember to increase the number of passes to max and try to change the settings in the rip to allow double strike or use a profile for backlit or clear film.

It happens more than you think. i dont want to name names here but it isnt veiled...its straight out...(out of warranty) a shop uses 3rd party inks then techs (in some areas) wont come service your machine....end of story....play ball...
Explain and Justify denial of non-warranty work OF ANY KIND on a machine just because they are using 3rd party ink.
