It is definitely something that you have to work hard to sell, most people don't want to pay the higher cost that comes with real leaf.

Thanks! Almost all of the gold work I do is encapsulated in vinyl. Basically the gold is laid directly onto the vinyl and then a couple more layers go over it to seal it, then it is cut, masked and applied just like any other decal!

That is a manufacturer's font. You can get close to it, but you won't find a match. ITC Symbol is a decent substitute.

It's hard to tell based off the picture, but that looks to be the cheap fake engine turn gold, like the VinylEfx stuff. I wouldn't recommend putting that on a fire apparatus. Go with either the Sign Gold or Real Gold brands of vinyl. It is possible to make a printed reflective engine turn gold...
