The part you’ve found is for sure not part of the printer.
Regarding the issue, it could be dirty line sensor, encoder strip or a defective DD.
Clean line sensor and encoder strip and do DD calibration.
Offgassingtime unrolled.
Regarding gamut I would not say so. But, halftone printers have bigger range to control colors. Contone printers like HP doesn‘t offer this functionality, but it’s easier to control colors in future. For halftone printers you need extra equipment and knowledge on color...
Purge is not not possible if supply is somewhere between 60-80%, no clue why.
Use a new cartridge if you still want to purge tubes. And install old cartridge after purge is done.
There is no need to purge ink line, since there should be only a very small bubble of air in.
TO prevent from this small bubble i insert the cartridge slightly and remove it when ink drips out ot the not-connected ink connector.
Which model you have?
I remember in the past that on some machines the carriage bottom plate was not well isolated to machine ground, which caused this kind of static buildup. This affects also dirtiness of bottom plate. If this is the case, let a technician install the isolation.
They can be repaired since a long time. Repair kits are available from both FF and OCE. Mostly the actuator runs out of position and can’t move freely into opto-coupler.
UV is a thick layer of ink which can’t be laminated without shadows. Latex can be laminated immediately. Solvent based inks needs time to evaporate all components and might affect stickiness of laminate.
If you’d like to print for indoor usage check out non smelling inks. Latex would fit. Outdoor non laminated go for UV. Small stickers with text go for eco-solvent. There is no machine that can do all at same time.
Rfid board is different between FF and OCE. Manufacturer is also stored on HDD, DataRelay and SystemControl pca. If one is replaced it gets the code of the two others.
What do you need are two oce rfid pca, a backup of your registry, a registry of exact same Océ model and a data relay of exact...
In the log you’ve sent you can see lots of link errors to carriage. I would suggest to reseat both sides in carriage and behind the big cover where the ink filters are located. and clean the contacts with contact cleaner first. Check logs afterwards regarding carriage link errors.
Then delete once the embedded icc and recalibrate. It can happen if one color reference has been created under suspicious conditions that the table gets corrupted.
Sometimes the truth is timesaving.
This kind of debris is normal since there is a gap in between printhead and carriage bottom plate. This residual ink can gat in contact with the exposed printhead connector. Thats why you have received a tool in the printer cleaning kit, that comes with the...
As I can see you are not very experienced in technical troubleshooting. And the knowledge you gathered during installation training and ramp-up is poor. I could recommend you some points, but it would take to long. My advice is to call your sales/service company and let them check for you. If...
