For which reason you would like to store it? Doesn’t make sense to me. You won’t be able to demonstrate and sell it.
So I would decrease pricing until sold.
Seems that you are loosing nozzles on high ink load. This could be related to almost everything. Meniscus to low or instable, ink flow, filter in PH, …
For printing on shirts I can recommend the Ricoh R-1000. you can print even on black fabric and DTF. And maintenance is really easy. Just shake the white cartridge once a day. Latex isn’t a good choice and UV is forbidden in my opinion due to the fact that you can’t control the polymerisation in...
Two possible scenarios: ink buildup in this area prevents from ink being fired. Visually inspect if you have ink collected in this area after nozzles get lost. Or missing ink in this region.
Check meniscus filter and replace. Could be also the small last chance filter in the printhead under the...
Check if bowing compensation of print platen is activated. Also remove the metal arm on the left side of dancer that prevents dancer roller from rotating. Also fix the banner only in the center and cut sides in an angle from the middle.
If that doesn’t help check the gap on several positions...
Maybe something gets corrupted in your profile. Try creating a new one from crate with color calibration and icc, sync the media library and reprint the file.
Printing UV inks onto fabric produces highly saturated vibrant colors. But in fact you can not control the polymerisation inside the fibres. And uncured UV ink is very hazardous.
Nobody should get in contact with.
I would go for waterbased. Try to get an used HP Designjet Z6200 or Z6800. Indoor use the pigment inks last forever. Photospectrometer for Color calibration is included and working fine.
I would not go for uv since it isn’t odorless and ink might crack when applied to the frame.
I got one unit in my showroom since several weeks and tried it extensively.
Really excited on print speed! and quality!
Small text is extremely sharp compared to 3000 and 1500. Speed is close to 3000, but not reaching. Quality in 4pass prints indoor quality with unrivaled stability.
Go and have...
If input voltage is properly provided to carriage pca, the firewire cable is ok and still no communication it could be the data relay or the carriage pca. You won’t be able to repair one of them.
You can easily check in the tubes and the damper how much ink has been contaminated. I would suggest to pull the ink directly from damper using a seringe. This is way faster. Just remove the alloy plate and pull gently the damper from the manifold.
