  1. Repair advice/help

Do you have stepper motors or servos? Could be something as simple as a fuse, each motor on mine is fused separately. To check you could switch the wiring from the x or y motor to the z and see if it works. Just a thought, been down that road.

I'm thinking of getting a VersaCamm and am a bit comfused about what software is needed. The salesman told me that I needed FlexiPro or something equivalent to drive the printer, is this so? Andy, check out this website www.precisionboard.com Go to the signs section and then products, they have a bonding adhesive, texture, hard coat, resin coat plus tutorials. I also have a CNC machine and have found that a good primer coat is a must. Think you're smart in giving it two coats of...
  11. Questions on Roland PC-60

I'd run like hell from that deal, another reason I don't do ebay. Jackpine-I still have my PC600 but am trying to justify getting a Roland VersaCamm. Will check out SSK though. The thing that appeals to me is getting away from the layers of vinyl and also not having to stock so many...
  12. Questions on Roland PC-60

Jackpine-I agree with the settings thing. Once I had it set correctly I never changed it and would behead anyone who messed with it.
  13. Questions on Roland PC-60

I hear you on the ebay thing, noticed the same thing. Some people are totally comfortable buying from there, I'm not. My biggest hurdle with the 600 was getting the profiles and settings correct. I use only Roland ribbons, the ZeroNine ribbons always break on me. Now that I have it set I...
  14. Questions on Roland PC-60

Stacy-There's a PC60 on ebay right now, a one day listing. Item #7611886705, might be worth a look.
  15. Questions on Roland PC-60

Stacy-I'm not sure about the PC60's, I have a PC600 and the yearly head replacement thing sounds funny. I've had mine for about 3 years and haven't had to replace the head yet (knock on wood). Keeping it covered and clean along with the media is a must though. Wanna make me an offer on my 600 so...
  16. Pc-600?

I've had a PC600 for a couple years now and agree with the above post. It does what I need it to do for the time being. Once I finally figured out the settings that worked best it has performed well. Like cinemasign said, keep everything clean! It's great for the small stuff. I've never had...

I'm very lucky, have a 70' by 85' steel building, a 40' bi-fold door and another 18' by 14' overhead door. One corner houses my CNC machine and welding equipment and another corner is my house! We built our home right inside the building. It's two story with a 35' x 28' loft where I do the...

Thanks Glenn and Pearl, seems like I have done it before also but now I can't remember how I did it! I have Flexi 7, maybe I did it from there. Did you sell your PC600? Do you do much digital printing?
