We have the KeenCut... It works pretty good. There are different attachments you can get for cutting different materials. It can cause some warping/bending of composite aluminum depending how the sheet is loaded/how much material you're cutting off, but its not terrible and can be avoided in...
Why is that wrong, doesnt the RIP software youre using rasterize the files before printing anyway? Out of illustrator I save everything as an eps and out of photoshop I save as tif with LZW compression/no layers.
We just had almost the exact problem with our 1614. Replaced maintenance station, and black damper... It actually turned out to be the head though :( One tech that we talked to said it was likely something went wrong with the head, and thats what was causing the air leak...

To test if a problem lies in the head or in the damper... Is it possible to connect, lets say the cyan damper to the black and vice versa? If I'm getting no black from the head, and I switch the C & K and now I get cyan...
If the o-rings did create a dimple in the line... How would you fix this problem? We're experiencing problems with our 1614, not trying to "steal" this thread...
