Yep, transparency in illustrator... Most likely from applying effects within illustrator (Drop Shadow, Outer Glow, etc.)
I came across a fix for this a while back... I was experimenting with profiles after just having some repairs made to our printer. I noticed that in Wasatch there is an...
Yep... Didn't think it would but it did, we had Mutoh tech in here for 2 wks trying to fix a similar issue, but our vertical banding was present in Magneta only... weird. The feed rate didnt fix the problem completely though, the tech had to set up some new profiles... but this was after new...
UPDATE: Mags came out really nice... First time cutting a custom shape. Customer loved them, but as I watched them walk out into the parking lot the first thing they did was put the mags on their vehicle with the arrows pointing BACKWARDS!!! lol :banghead:
The whole reason for the arrow was to...
Thanks you showing. Very cool! What would you do with the City Council Mags if they ordered a large quantity? Still cut by hand, or is there a place that you can get magnetic blanks cut to any shape?
I've been getting bored with the standard rectangular magnetic signs that we do, so decided to do something a lil different... Cut the mag into a custom shape. I've kept this shape simple so I'd be able to cut it out with a straightedge. Please let me know what you think, and if there's anything...

u can only FULLY justify the text if it is in a "text box"/area type... U must use the type tool to draw a box, then add your text inside that box, then jusify text
I keep getting this warning: "Warning - Color channels in this job:5 Color channels in this device:4 This may not render properly."
I checked the file in photoshop and the file is set up in CMYK, the color channels are (1) CMYK (1) CYAN (1) MAGENTA (1) YELLOW (1) BLACK. Which is exactly the...
We have printed on our laminate as well... We've found that matte laminate takes the ink a little better than gloss. It will look washed out when the lights come on, but we've set up a profile that double strikes each pass with a couple sec. drying time between passes and it seems to work well...
We always remove screws... It makes the install go easier IMHO. It does thake a little while to remove the screws and put them back in, but I think its worth it. Makes for a cleaner install too
Yea, I've noticed that it shows up on some colors more than others... But can u copy and paste your artwork from ill into Photoshop? I use photoshop when saving as a flattened image, I don't really like to flatten within ill... Trying saving from Photoshop as a .tif with no layers and see if you...
Ok... Whatever u say buddy. U can think what u want, but I have changed settings and performed test prints... These are facts. My profiles match and, there is no "problem" that I'm trying to fix... By changing the rendering intent it increased the overall quality of my prints, I've seen it...
