Good point, this will probably give the computer manufacturers an excuse/opportunity to sell premium builds designed to handle AI's demands, where as the basic (cheaper) out of the box computers eventually won't have the processing power to handle the new technology.

Extending expiration dates sure would be nice. I've thrown out more ink on this machine than any other printer I've owned. Guess I should get on it and keep that thing busy(er), but still not fun throwing money out throughout the year.

Nothing else here, that's the only thing we use it for.

We use 13oz GB PET...ultraflex and most manufacturers make some sort of version of it. Nice and smooth, blockout, doesn't curl and doesn't fray because it's PET and not PVC/scrim.

This. For new requests, find a good/better/best option and stock a couple of those, keep templates saved somewhere handy to send to customers. (They still won't use them, or understand bleed/safe area/leader on the bottom) For replacements, we tell customers to drop them off then base...
