So. How similar is the 360 and 560? In terms of the internals, aka printhead carriage, ink lines, and such.
The way the tech was looking at the media holder/loader on our 560 was kind of like he had never seen one in person before.
When we setup our L25500 we were getting issues with distortion on the test prints the tech and I were running. It got better when I quit being cheap and feed out more material at the start of the print. I'm not talking like fed out to the take up, just underneath the second heater.

I'm one of those who drank the Summa juice and loved it. If I wasn't buying Summa plotters then Graphtec would probably my second choice. Can't go wrong with either of them, in my opinion.
Couple of questions for everyone, not so much related to the printer but the installer.
If they tell you something flat out wrong, but know better, do you correct them so that they hopefully don't misinform someone else and possibly piss them off or just let it slide?
Would you consider...
Other then you would probably have to have another copy of Onyx for the second computer.
There should not be a reason that you can't do what you are wanting to do. Could be a network configuration issue like was mentioned earlier, or how you are processing the workflow through Onyx. A bunch of...
After the initial setup issues, the L25500 worked with only two glitches until we decided to retire it and replace it with the L560. Its just "funny" that we had startup issues with two different HP printers. Maybe its karma, made my wife who hates clowns watch the IT trailer last night.
Doesn't plastic float ;-)
Something is wrong with the light cyan/magenta channel. Printhead or something deeper, supposed to have an HP tech in tomorrow to look into.
This was initial setup day. Second HP latex printer we have bought, and second HP latex printer that wasn't printing on day one.
We switched to latex during the first generation of printers and haven't regretted it. Decided to keep with it for our new one, and since we are sharing.

I've never had blistering in vinyl once the printer cleared the first few inches of the media, but even then it was heat setting related. There are more then just settings for dying and curing temps so something else might be off in your RIP.
We just upgraded to Flexi 12 and our L25500 started...
Basically both is was I was told on the phone. But as it has been since v7.5, I am happily running Flexi (design side) on my design station and PM on the rip computer. Honestly, felt like they were just baiting me into buying another FlexiDESIGNER license.
Will say though, their response time...
Since a few have responded I figured I should through out my setup as well too.
For as long as I can remember, we have always ran Flexi and PM on separate machines. Reason being? Primarily location. We run a dedicated design station in my office and have another computer running PM in our print...
Just upgraded to 12, had some technical issues that I emailed SAi about, but resolved them in between emails. I ended up getting a call from them and am not kosher with what I was told on the phone. Like to see how everyone uses Flexi from a viewpoint of where do you have the design side of...
On that note, HP is supposedly going to announce the end of parts for the L25500 sooner then later. If that weighs into trying to keep your L25500 running or not.
