Is all you are wanting to do is design on the other station?? If so just grab a Designer license, it can't output on its own it but it comes with basically all of the design options of the Pro version and can output to the Pro's Production Manager. Its what we do here.

We print on clear when we are already using translucent faces. We print two panels, one for inside the face and one outside. Best way we have found for getting good color on backlit jobs with our L25.

Your profile may not print white as 0/0/0/0. In Flexi, there is a setting to print each CMYK color as 100% if that is what the file calls for, no matter what the current profile would adjust it too. It also has that option for white. Don't know if Versaworks has that option, but I always have...

Have you tried a different profile in Flexi? It seem that how well profiles are made really shows in the gradients.
